Newly renovated by famous course designer Robin Nelson, the Kaanapali Kai Golf Course offers players 18 holes of luxurious resort golf set against the stunning backdrop of Maui’s west coast. Built upon what used to be one of Maui’s historic sugar plantations, this beautifully maintained, Par-70 course plays to a length of 6,400 yards and features several areas of local historical significance. With a more forgiving layout that emphasizes strategic play, Kaanapali Kai, or Kaanapali South as it’s sometimes called, offers a rewarding experience for golfers of all skill levels. Many holes take advantage of the natural surroundings found in the area; lava rock formations, gulches, and canals pose unique challenges.
