Join the friendly folks at Blue Sea Cruises on a fun and informative day-cruise aboard the Spirit of Kona, a custom-made glass bottom boat designed to give you the best possible view of the fascinating world of exotic marine life just below the water’s surface!

The Spirit of Kona is a custom-built 70’ double deck power catamaran that allows for a complete 360º view from up top and 2 giant glass viewing wells below for the best views both above and below the water’s surface!

Once underway, you’ll have a chance to view spinner dolphins, Pacific green sea turtles, manta-rays, white-tip sharks, Hawaiian monk seals, schools and schools of brightly colored tropical fish, and maybe even a humpback whale or two depending on the season!

There are two tours available, one that departs early in the morning and another at mid-day. Both tours last a little over 2 hours and set sail from Kailua-Kona Pier to Keauhou Bay and back. An onboard naturalist provides narration for the tour and will answer any questions you may have about the marine life you’ll encounter during the cruise in addition to describing the many historic sites to be found along the scenic Kona coast.
