Located on the eastern tip of Oahu, Makapuu Beach is popular with body-surfers (careful, though, the shore break can be treacherous at times!).

A popular day hiking trail leads up to historic Makapuu Lighthouse at Makapuu Point. The scenic trail is a little under two miles and suitable for hikers of all experience levels.

While you're in the neighborhood be sure to check out "Rabbit Island!" - it looks just like a lop-eared rabbit swimming to the right!
