Prepare yourself for an amazing off road adventure courtesy of Ride The Rim ATV Tours! Set out on your very own All-TerrainVehicle, or ATV, and explore majestic Waipio Valley on the Big Island of Hawaii. Once the birthplace of kings and home for more than 50 generations to the Hawaiian monarchy, Waipio Valley is a serene place of awe-inspiring beauty and a must-see for visitors to the Big Island.

Take a ride on a 4-wheel drive, automatic transmission Honda Rancher! They’re safe, comfortable, and easy to ride. Before setting out on your off-road adventure you’ll go through a quick orientation in order to familiarize yourself with the vehicles. For those who don’t feel like hopping on one of the ATVs, there’s always the open-air Kawasaki Mule. (Your tour guide will take care of the driving). Safety gear’s provided, as well as ponchos in case you encounter wet weather conditions.

Once underway your friendly and talkative tour guides will take you up and around the edge of Waipio Valley where as much as 2,000 feet above the valley floor you’ll be treated to some of the most breathtaking panoramic views of the island imaginable! (The view from the Waipio Valley Lookout is amazing!)

You’ll cover diverse terrain on this action-packed ATV ride. You’ll explore secluded, pristine forests full of ginger and eucalyptus trees, traverse a mile-wide stretch of black sand beach, and pass by 1,200-foot tall Hi’ilawe Falls! At the top of the valley you’ll have a chance to take a dip in a pool next to a secluded waterfall, so don’t forget to bring your swim clothes and a towel!

The entire tour runs a little over 3 hours with light refreshments included.
