Havaiki Nui Luau - Grand Hyatt Kauai Admission

The Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa and Tihati Productions invite you to join them for a magical, unforgettable evening featuring the very best in food, fun, and entertainment for the whole family!

The Grand Hyatt Kauai, located on the southern coast of Kauai in the scenic Poipu Beach resort area, plays host to this incredibly popular event every Sunday and Thursday (also Tuesdays in the summer months).

The event begins at a quarter to six. After checking in, you’ll be greeted warmly with a fresh, flower lei. Stroll around the grounds and enjoy an icy cold tropical drink while listening to the soothing strains of live, contemporary island music. Sample popular local appetizers, or pupus, and take in the breathtakingly gorgeous scenery all around you.

Once the feast commences, you’ll have a chance to sample authentic local delicacies including traditional Hawaiian favorites like Kalua Pig (roasted in an underground oven, or imu), Haupia, and Poi, along with contemporary island fare – sesame seared Mahimahi, grilled teriyaki steak, and much, much more!

After dinner, the festivities continue! Sit back, relax, and let the talented cast of Havaiki Nui take you along with them on A Journey To New Lands, a musical celebration showcasing the rich, cultural heritage of Polynesia!

Thrill to the beat of the pulse-pounding drums of Tahiti, discover the graceful beauty of both the ancient and modern forms of hula, kahiko and ‘auana, and witness with your own two eyes the death-defying feats of the Samoan Fire Knife Dancers!
