Kualoa Ranch ATV Adventure Kualoa Ranch Horseback Rides

Cruise through Kualoa Ranch with your very own ATV! Enjoy once in a lifetime scenery on your ride!

Explore the wondrous beauty of Ka’a’awa Valley on your own All Terrain Vehicle!

The friendly and experienced guides at Kualoa Ranch lead you up the mountainside on trails that pass historic World War II bunkers and down into lush, verdant valleys surrounded by the beautiful and majestic Kualoa Mountains.

The 4000-acre Kualoa Ranch is family-owned and operated and has served as a backdrop for a number of big-budget Hollywood productions like Jurassic Park and Pearl Harbor, as well as popular television shows past and present, like Hawaii Five-O and the hit show Lost.

There are two Kualoa Ranch ATV rides available: a one hour tour that takes you over the old saddle trails deep into Ka’a’awa Valley, and for more experienced riders, a two hour long trip that lets you explore the southern half of Kualoa Ranch as well, through Hakipu’u Valley, past the 800-year-old Moli’i Fishpond, and out to the beach and a terrific view of Kaneohe Bay.

Relax and enjoy the simple wonders of Hawaii while riding on a horse! More Kualoa horseback riding!

Considered sacred by ancient Hawaiians, historic Ka’a’awa on the northeastern side of Oahu is home to the beautiful, 4,000-acre Kualoa Ranch. Established in 1850, family-owned and operated Kualoa Ranch offers several different ways to explore the surrounding countryside and all of its varied terrain.

You can hike the trails on foot or even hop on an ATV, but if you’re looking to truly understand the wonder and beauty of Ka’a’awa and that special feeling of awe that inspired the ancient Hawaiians and their deep sense of spirituality, there’s nothing like the thrill of riding out on horseback, communing with nature.

Go for an hour, or two – it’s your choice. There’s no shortage of terrific photo opportunities and lots of varied terrain for you to explore.

The hour long horseback ride takes you through the southern part of the ranch which includes several highlights - an ancient Hawaiian fishpond that’s been around for 800 years, and a gorgeous view of famed Mokoli’i Island – called “Chinaman’s Hat” by the locals.

If you opt for the two hour ride, you’ll travel north instead, deep into the valley, through dense forest areas and past historic World War II bunkers. Along the way you’ll come across some mighty familiar locations; Kualoa Ranch has served as the backdrop for a number of major Hollywood productions, including Jurassic Park and NBC’s hit TV show Lost!
