With the popular Classic Sunrise Bicycle Safari, you’ll enjoy a light continental breakfast at the sunrise viewing area where you’ll be treated to an amazing view of the sunrise from Haleakala (6,500-feet above sea level)! After that, you’ll begin your downhill adventure with breathtaking views of Maui’s central valley, the north shore, and the neighbor islands of Molokai and Lanai. After a rest stop at Kula Sunrise Market and Flower Farm, the safari continues by van from Pukalani where you’ll learn some of the history of Maui’s sugar and pineapple plantation days.

There are over 300 state-of-the-art custom built chrome mountain bikes available, all of them equipped with powerful fail-resistant drum brakes and comfortable cushioned seats, and, of course, all necessary safety gear is provided.

RESTRICTIONS: All bikers must be have closed toe shoes and competent bike skills. Children must be 12 years or older and all rides must be 5 ft tall. The bicycle manufacturer suggest a maximum of 230 lbs or less. PLEASE NOTE: Weather conditions vary at the 10,000 ft summit, so please bring warm clothes if not layers. No tours will be cancelled due to weather conditions. REFUND: If the bicycling portion of the tour is cancelled due to rare unsafe weather conditions, the tour will be conducted as a van tour and a 50% refund will be provided.
