Hike Maui Haleakala Crater 4 Mile Hike

Hike through three vastly diverse environments in Maui! Hike Maui Haleakala Crater is a moderate four-mile hike. We will hike at 8,000 feet on a lava rock trail lined with uncommon plant species. Continue your hike two more miles to reach the 10,000 foot summit where you can view enormous cinder cones that expand over the desert-like landscape. Encounter Haleakala’s enormity and splendor when you reach the summit. At the summit you can see hundreds of miles in any direction. Directions From Lahaina side:South on Hwy 30.  Turn right at Hwy 380.  Go five on Hwy 380.   Look on the left side for Park & Ride. Make a left turn into the parking lot.  If you get to the traffic light with large gray and blue church on right, you’ve gone 100 yards too far.  Look for a green Hike Maui van.

Directions From Kihei-Wailea-Makena side:  North on Pi’ilani Hwy (Hwy 31).  Turn right onto Mokulele Hwy (Hwy 311) toward Kahului.  Follow Mokulele Hwy for 10-12 minutes.  Turn left onto Hwy 380. (There’s a large blue/gray church on your right.) Go 200 yds and turn right into a commuter parking lot.  There is a small parking sign (green letters) saying Park & Ride.  Look for a green Hike Maui van.

East Maui Waterfalls & Rainforest Hike

Hike to the valley in Maui’s that has several waterfalls with this 2.5 miles East Maui Waterfalls and Rainforest Hike. The waterfalls lie within a short distance of each other making the valley unique. We will follow two streams to reach three or five waterfalls that lie ten to forty feet high. Hike Maui Kayak, Snorkel and Waterfall Hike

You can have it all! Directions From Lahaina side: South on Hwy 30. Go just past the 15 mile marker.  Look for a small blue sign “Camp Pecusa” followed by a house and 50-ft guardrail on the ocean side.  Look for Kayak trailers on the right--pull over on the beach.  Look for the Kayak guide wearing a t-shirt saying “Kelii’s Kayak Tours.”

Directions From Kihei-Wailea-Makena side:North on Pi’ilani Hwy (Hwy 31.  Left onto Hwy 30. Go ¾-mile past the 14-mile marker.  Look for Kayak trailers on the left-- on the beach -- park on the beach.  Look for the Kayak guide wearing a t-shirt saying “Kelii’s Kayak Tours.”

Full Day Hana Waterfalls and Rainforest Hike

What a better way to spend a day then with nature in a Maui rainforest enjoying the majestic waters of the Kipahulu Valley. The appropriate apparel for hiking in Maui, Hawaii is shorts, a shirt, and athletic shoes or sports sandals. If you plan to swim, wear your swimsuit under your clothing, bring a towel, and sunscreen.
