Oahu Hummer Movie Set Tour

You're not Lost, you're on location!Hawaii is a popular destination for many (but you knew that already). What you may not have known is that Hollywood filmmakers have been coming to the 50th state for some time now to take full advantage of the amazingly diverse geography of the islands, all in one convenient location and without having to bust out the passport! (And really, who doesn’t want to work - and play - in Hawaii?)

Hawaii has stood in for World War II-era Saipan, modern-day Nigeria, even a certain dinosaur themed amusement park where the star attractions have been known to get a little out of hand! (Hint: rhymes with “Elastic Lark”)

Now you can take a ride in a Hummer and go on an off-road adventure that takes you to more than a dozen different shooting locations used by Hollywood film crews in big budget productions like Jurassic Park, Pearl Harbor, and Lost!

There are two exciting tours to choose from:

The five hour tour begins in Waikiki (round trip transportation included). Your first stop is just a short ride down the Pali Highway where you’ll make a quick stop at scenic Nu’uanu Pali Lookout (just one of the many locations around the island used while filming the hit television series “Lost!”) From there you’ll enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the windward side of the island – a nice little preview of what’s to come!

Once you arrive on the windward side of Oahu, you’ll stop off at many different locations – Waikane Pier, the historic Moli’i Fish Pond, and more – where movies like 50 First Dates, Godzilla, and the recent You, Me, and Dupree were filmed.

Your final destination is gorgeous Kualoa Ranch where you’ll visit sites used by such major Hollywood productions as Jurassic Park, Windtalkers, and Mighty Joe Young!

The two hour tour begins at Kualoa Ranch (so it’s best if you have a rental car). You’ll venture into Ka'a'awa Valley and visit the old Kualoa Sugar Mill and Cooper Battery, a WWII-era coastal defense gun battery turned movie museum. Stop off at a re-created Hawaiian village (ah, movie magic) as well! As with the five hour tour, there are more than a dozen film/television locations to scope out along the way (Pearl Harbor, Tears of the Sun, Birds of Paradise, and Lost are just a few of the famous productions that have filmed on the island of Oahu).

There are plenty of fun photo opportunities, and bottled water and snacks are provided on both tours.

Play tourist and take a behind-the-scenes look at some of Hollywood’s biggest hits with this fun, off road Oahu movie tour!
