Aloha! Welcome to Big Island Surf Lessons and join the “Sport of Kings.” In Hawaii’s ancient days surfing was literally reserved only for the “alii” (royalty). Today anyone can experience the rush of catching a wave with a Big Island Surf Lesson. If you have never set foot in the ocean, Hawaii Surf Lessons is the place to learn to ride your own wave. Big Island Surf Lessons is the island’s hot spot for learning excellent surfing skills. Semi-private lessons are available for covering all the basics of surf etiquette to catching a wave. Beginners are our specialty. No experience is necessary, but you must be able to swim. The group surfing lesson is limited to a maximum of 12 students. Group Lessons
Entry Level: No experience needed. Be able to swim.
Description: We specialize in beginners! Our group surfing lessons are limited to a maximum of 12 people
Private Lessons
Entry Level: No experience needed.
Description: Private Lessons are just you and the instructor. For younger students these lessons are best and are required for anyone 10 yrs old or younger.
Transportation is not offered and each surfer will be responsible for
their transportation to the beach. Ocean Eco Tours will transport all
surf boards.

The Ocean Eco Tours Dive shop is located at the Honokohau Harbor off Highway 19 just 2.2 miles north of Kailua Kona town and 5.1 miles south of the Kona International Airport. Our shop offers lots of free parking as well as a complete line of equipment for rent or to purchase to meet your SCUBA, surfing and other water sports needs.
