The Maui Helicopter Tour will fly to Kaupo and Ko’olau Gaps where you will examine the mammoth flows of lava descending from the Heleakala crater to the waters of the Pacific. Step back in time when the pilot of the Blue Hawaiian Helicopters Tours points out the quaint Old Hana Town. Many years ago, Old Hana Town was thriving and prosperous due to the successful production of sugarcane. From the air you will be able to see the old buildings still standing. The Blue Hawaii Hana Haleakala Helicopter Tour will next zip over to Hana Rainforest. Discover the tall bamboo plants growing over the sizable acres of the forest land and the majestic waterfalls flowing to the crystal clear pools. The Pools of O’heo, generally known as “Seven Sacred Pools” is a series of stunning cascading waterfalls that runs through the O’heo Gulch. The cool water quickly flows following a path that ends with splashing in the Pacific Ocean. This Maui Helicopter Tour won’t be complete without showing you the Manawainui area. This is a valley that is the home to numerous flowing waterfalls in lush green valleys.  On the return flight to the heliport, the pilot will fly over the Keanae Valley and peninsula located on the coast of Hana. Ke’anae Valley starts below Ko’olau Gap. The valley has an array of climate zones ranging from fertile green forest to dry cinder deserts. Watch for small sparkling streams, cascading waterfalls, and it may rain a bit during the flight over the Ke’anae Valley.
