For 30 enchanting minutes, Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tour offers an exploration of the lush and deep valleys located in the tropical rainforest of the West Maui Mountains. Whether you have been on one, two, or more of our West Maui Mountains tour, you can always expect to see something different. Every Blue Hawaii Helicopter Tour with West Maui Mountains is different. The weather changing and wind conditions determine the sites best to discover during your Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tour. The combination of the year-round trade winds and the warm tropical climates intensifies the splendor of “The Valley Isle.” The added beauty of a cascading waterfall and a multi-colored rainbow after a tropical rainstorm adds breathtaking beauty to the entire island. Few tourists and residents know of the striking and remarkable beauty carved into the mountain sides of West Maui. You can see from the air the magnificent Iao Valley where the dense lush rainforest and tall valley walls line the total mountain. The Blue Hawaii Helicopter Tour soars through one secluded valley after another. A Blue Hawaii Helicopter Tour with West Maui Mountains is the only means to see the interior of the pristine hidden valleys. Misty, shrouded peaks divide these dramatic valleys of the island of Maui. Watch for the crystal clear waterfalls flowing from towering cliffs splashing into streams elegantly running along the fertile floor of the rainforest. The awe-inspiring beauty of  the island of Maui starts with the beginning of the tour and the beauty ends with the tour. Passengers will start the tour at Blue Hawaii’s gorgeous and several million dollar Hawaii Operations Center, the Kahului heliport. Ride on the custom-made Eco-Star Hawaii’s prominent helicopters. Blue Hawaii Helicopter Tour is Hawaii’s most admired aerial tour recorded by the National Geographic Magazine and the number one air-tour leader on the island of Maui. The West Maui Mountains are made up of four sections, the Honokowai, Kahakuloa, Panaewa, and Lihau Sections. The Honokowai is a very wet upper section consisting of the northern slopes. The aerial view offers beautiful shrubbery, rainforest, and a lagoon. The Kahakuloa is located on the windward slope of the mountain and home to the Eke Crater. From the air you will see two permanent streams stretching towards the ‘Ohi’ wet forests. Panaewa is made up of an extraordinary montane bog in the ‘Ohi’ wet forest. Watch for the diverse beauty as the pilot flying the Eco-Star hovers over this breathtaking vista for you to get a closer look. Lihau is the driest of all the four sections of the West Maui Mountains. Look for the steep-sloped leftovers of the volcano reaching from dry leeward lowlands to a very damp peak with cliffs surrounding all sides. The pilot will direct you to watch for the rare shrubbery and lush grasses that grow near the base of the mountains. The beauty of the untouched areas of Maui will astound you.
