Hawaii Nautical - West Oahu Dolphin Snorkel Sail

Join Hawaii Nautical's Dolphin Snorkel Sail along the beautiful coast on the leeward side of the island of Oahu.  The Waianae Coast is the home to the incredible Ko Olina Marina and Resort. The marina and resort are only a short distance from the pristine blue waters of the South Pacific Ocean that surrounds the island of Oahu. The conditions in this secluded area create an opportunity to swim with tropical colorful fish, and other exotic marine life that live in South Pacific’s underwater paradise. The Dolphin Snorkel Sail Cruise will sail along white sandy beaches, jagged volcanic peaks, and rolling lush green hills of this scantly populated area on the island. There may not be much action on the shore, but in the blue crystal clear waters of the South Pacific Ocean, there is plenty of action. Watch for frolicking dolphins as they splash, spin, and twist alongside the touring vessel. Hawaiian green sea turtles are often found swimming among the dolphins. In the winter months (December to April), you may spot a Humpback whale migrating from the frigid waters of Alaska to the tropical warm waters of Hawaii. The whales leave the cold weather and travel to warm weather to mate, give birth to their young, and nurse their calves. Did you know that a young nursing calf gains about 100 pounds a day! If you are lucky, you might even see a female Humpback whale with its newborn calf. Don’t forget to bring your camera to create lasting memories by taking photos of these rare and exciting actions of nature in progress.
